“I’ll never trust you,” Harrybell continues, his voice low, full of rage. “Not after all this. Not after everything you’ve done to me. You’re a coward, Louis.”
“I’m sorry, little flower,” Louis says, his voice barely audible over the distance between them.

“The god of the fae,” he corrects Uma, though her first stab isn’t technically wrong either. “Gods have many domains, dear niece of mine.” Hades walks to stand behind the young fae now, causing the boy’s breathing to hitch. “Just as fae have many needs.” He reaches down and ghosts a touch over the young male’s bent back, prompting a shiver from the half-fae, from Harry.
“Oh, I’m going to enjoy this.”

“Well, well, well,” she says, uncrossing her legs, and leaning forward, “if it isn’t the long lost son of Captain Hook.” She reaches out a hand and is pleasantly surprised when he doesn’t pull away from her as the pads of her fingers go to his throat, tracing the golden shell of the necklace she’d effectively collared him with just over seven years ago.
“You’re still wearing my necklace,” she states, and she’s greeted with the wonderful sight of his Adam's apple bobbing as he swallows.
“Oh?” he asks innocently, trying for unaffected aloofness. “Am I?” He sports a charming grin, one that she finds she’s so achingly missed.
“Yes.” She pulls him closer to her by the black chain of it, and delights in the catch in his breathing at the action.
“You should have taken it off if you didn’t want me to find you,” she tells him.
He swallows dryly again. “Maybe I wanted ta be found.”
