However…” Sunday could feel the ghost of Anaxa’s hand graze against his cheek. “... even I, a philosopher of all logic and reason, can experience revelations.”
Anaxa’s smile, though rare, was so serene. So… true. Honest. The way his face visibly relaxed, the way his eyes squinted ever so slightly. How it just felt so reassuring, that everything was going to be okay even though it really wasn’t.
“And, my revelation? Love, it works in many… different ways. How it can alter the predetermined course of events so significantly.”
“I… ask once again: where are you going with this, Anaxa.”
