In 2038, androids have replaced human entertainers at theme parks like Galaxy Edge, a Star Wars themed location in the outskirts of Detroit. The state-of-the-art EM500 model employed there can for all practical purposes become the character it portrays – what naturally causes problems when it awakens to sentience. When that happens to “General Hux” and “Finn”, the newly created deviants deal with their awakening in drastically different ways and the Phillips family finds themselves in the crossfire.
