Summary
“You stole my sweater.”
That shuts Phainon up. Mydei’s face is scrunched and colored pink by the shower heat, and his brows are furrowed, and his arms crossed — and he’s not wearing a shirt. Phainon snaps his gaze to stay above Mydei’s neck before it drowns in the rest of him.
“Because it’s mine,” he replies cautiously. Mydei makes a half-hearted grunt. A blossoming bruise blesses his temple; ugly remnant from sparring.
“I need it,” he retorts, offering no further explanation.
Or: Phainon is in the middle of agonizing over his feelings for his roomate slash best friend when he finds out Mydei is half-cat. And also in heat. He offers a helping hand.
