Summary
Curmudgeonly was one of the nicer words used to describe him. Teaching wasn't meant to be more than just another responsibility to fill his time. Aizawa only took this job to take a fine-toothed comb through the latest crop of hero hopefuls. To not do so would be downright neglectful. And there was nothing he hated more than letting things end halfway.
Fatherly certainly wasn't a word used to describe him either. Responsible, sure, but fatherly? His only qualification for guardianship is Erasure. That should not be enough to land him guardianship of multiple kids.
Bakugou is pretty sure the nerd had forgiven him already, but he's been wrong about him before and his childhood 'friend's' forgiveness feels more like a participation trophy than the result of blood, sweat, and tears. And all things considered, there are worse empty victories than a half-assed match.
