Summary
This isn't a fully traditional 'Shakespearean' sonnet, which would have 10 syllables per line. But it is the first sonnet I have written and... I tried. I found the Iambic pentameter challenging and settled with (mostly) alternating tetra- and tri-meter. I like the sound as it rolls off the tongue, and I hope you enjoy it too.

Summary
I write poetry on occasion. I find it pretty fun. Is it good? Probably not, but I like it.
There is no broader story to the poems, I just add poems when I feel like it. Don't like one? Maybe the next is to your liking. The majority of the poems are Free Verse, but I also write sonnets as well as the occasional Limerick and Haiku. I recommend viewing this work through the “entire work” option.
I don't know how this would be rated, but warnings for violence and self-violence definitely and sexual activity. Read at your own discretion.

Here is a song called Of Finrod and Bëor, also called by some, Of Finrod and the Coming of Men, as was still sung in Rivendell in the Third Age of the world. It is but a fragment from the Lay of Felagund, which told the story of Finrod Felagund in full. It was first cast into Sindarin in Imladris by some of the High Elves who dwelt there for a time, and later into Westron.
