Summary
Trapped in a loveless marriage, Gilbert Beilschmidt returns to his hometown for his brother’s birthday and unexpectedly reunites with his high school ex, Lovino Vargas. Old tensions resurface, leading to an affair that forces Gilbert to confront his stagnant life. As their relationship deepens, Gilbert’s world unravels when his wife reveals her own infidelity—and a possible pregnancy. Caught between a crumbling marriage and a rekindled love, Gilbert must decide whether to keep running or finally fight for his own happiness, while Lovino struggles with the risk of letting him back in.
