Summary
As the Galactic Empire continues to amass power and control of star systems, many of the oppressed seek a better life, looking to escape to the Outer Rim and away from Imperial control. As they try to find safe passage, many are drawn to Casablanca, a spaceport at the convergence of several hyperspace lanes. As Imperial control intensifies, many find that their temporary stopover has become more permanent. Those with money, influence, or luck might move onward, but most wait and wait and wait and hope for their lives. And in Casablanca, life is cheap.
After spending a year together healing after Order 66, Rex and Ahsoka go their separate ways, until happenstance or the will of the force brings them back together at the exotic spaceport of Casablanca. Amidst a war-torn galaxy, can these two survivors find love and peace together? And maybe even help the fight against the Galactic Empire?
