Summary
Hera is doing just fine, thank you very much, no matter what her annoying not-daemon Dodona might think. So what if everyone is moving on and leaving her behind? If she's struggling alone with what it means to be a person?
But when she finally finds a support group for people-who-aren't-people, for others that don't fit into a world built solely for human-daemon pairs, she finds that maybe being not-fine is okay, actually. And maybe she has a lot more friends than she thought.

Summary
The crew of the Hephaestus struggle to adjust to life back on Earth. Lovelace is bored and Minkowski thought things would be different. Doug doesn’t remember the life he was supposed to go back to, and Jacobi’s doing fine, by the way. Just great. At least no-one’s trying to kill them, and the walls haven’t creaked ominously in a while, which is an improvement, right? At least Hera has a body now. And it’s pretty dang cool.

Summary
A ghost is all the Dust left of a person after they die, held together by some unfinished business, too determined just to dissolve. Doug and Rae, alive as they are, aren't a ghost, but that doesn't mean they're not a haunting.
(Or: Douglas-Rae Eiffel died up in space. Someone else came back, and has to live the life he left behind.)

Summary
On his first day of his senior year, Doug Eiffel is stuck in a class ran by the most insane woman he has ever met. Lucky for him, that woman assigned him a seat next to the new girl brand new Chuck Taylors. Friendship ensues.
Also! Choir class drama! Theater kid antics! Gay awakenings! Homeschoolers getting bullied (affectionate)! and more!

Summary
'There is one anomaly, however, one parcel that does not take the shape of a plane or radio kit, or a diverse pack of socks. It is long, flat, rectangular and suspiciously similar in shape to a book. Heart sinking, he tears with significantly less enthusiasm at its disguise, hands retracting at the object beneath.
His mother’s voice ricochets off his eardrums like a gymnast on the trampoline. “It’s one of those colour by number books, since you seemed to love the one they had at school so much. Maybe this’ll be the thing that finally keeps you quiet, hm?”'
⤷ five times communications officer doug eiffel does a colour by number picture, and one time he doesn’t.
(plus: coffee mugs that do not contain coffee, parking your car in harvard yard, laughable laminating jobs, particularly-antagonistic measuring tape, all-expense-paid trips to undisclosed tropical islands and starting again).

Summary
After making it back to Earth with the surviving members of her crew, Minkowski and her daemon Artur struggle to readjust to a life on the ground, all the while trying to keep the rest of their little family afloat. And if Lovelace and Osiris leave, and keep leaving--what is Minkowski supposed to do? She's the Commander. She doesn't have time to worry about herself.
She has to keep everyone else safe.
(Or: a homecoming, when home is nothing like you remember.)

Summary
You are both alive. You made it out. You made it out.
Out of the Hephaestus, and now you are like Ares, stealing away its Aphrodite. Well, they can ensnare you. They can take away your power again and laugh their asses off, but it will not be them who make her coffee in the morning, it'll be you.

Summary
A man and a ferret walk onto a space station.
See, the joke here is that the ferret is the only non-winged daemon up in space, and the joke of that is those winged creatures are the only ones who can actually get around in a zero-gravity environment, at least, with any sort of grace. Plus, bird and bat-daemons are creatures of the sky: who the hell sends a ferret to space, when you have raptors that long for the skies anyways? But that’s alright. Communications Officer Doug-Rae Eiffel has a lot more problems than being the only ferret in a team that needs flight: because with traitorous crewmates, captains returning from the dead, and aliens just existing apparently, being a ferret tends to fall to the backside. And like, at least they ARE a person. That’s more than can be said for the more technological-based members of the crew.
But that’s just what life is like, 7.9 light years from Earth. Welcome, to Wolf 359.

Summary
There are bad days. There are always bad days, but when you're trapped on a space ship with four people and no memories of who you are aside from some old tape recordings from your asshole former self, the bad days kind of suck.
Like, suck in a "everyone looks at you and expects to see someone else" kind of way. Suck in a "telling jokes that they expect you to understand and then trying to comfort them when you don't" kind of way. Suck in a "they mention people who were important to you, to all of you, and you don't even know their names" kind of way.
It's that kind of bad day. -

Summary
Captain Lovelace finds she's comfortable floating through beautiful oblivion. She didn't spend her entire life dreaming of outer space like her stern second, Minkowski, but Goddard Futuristics had offered her an opportunity she hadn't realized she was desperate for. So two capable ladies spend their days lecturing the astrophysicists about eavesdropping, getting lectured by Lambert about regulations, and ordering Selberg to pause his unspecified research for dinner. And there's, by way of introduction, Officer 'Doug's fine. I'm the Hephaestus' ham!' Eiffel. The astrophysicists are lost when he speaks in Air Force, and most all of them get left behind when he speaks in pop culture. What's is a cute gay engineer to do? He's going to be Mace 'oh my god they sent us a puppy?!' Fisher, that's what. Eiffel doesn't miss a beat, snarking an pre-apology for tripping over his own ears and breaking shit. Then and there, Mace Fisher decided to adopt Doug Eiffel. That was the beginning of the *Shenanigans Department*.
edit: holy shit I made a relationship that a tag doesn't exist for! Kinda proud lmao

Summary
She had barely ever imagined that her body could taunt her, but here it is. Anything can happen in space. What a fool she was to suppose that "anything" was just first contact or dying under questionable circumstances. No! It's just her desperate need for affection catching up on her, looking for someone to tell her she's something, and the first person she met aside from Eiffel and Hilbert made her little bisexual heart skitter in its cage and absolutely goddamn lose it.
