Well, that may have been the most unsuccessful plan I have ever executed. Sua thought in her head as she picked up her bag left on one of the plastic chairs in the classroom. But, there’s always next year, or maybe running a club just isn’t for me. I’ll just tell my sister that I had at least tried—

Mizi wakes up to find a white ceiling and a whirring fan, her dead beloved dipping a wet handkerchief into a bucket of warm water and gently patting her forehead with it. Her other raven-haired friend sits bickering with his roommate about something irrelevant, though she can tell their faces are too close to one another’s to seem platonic. Long brown hair breezes past her window outside, her hand playfully tussling a blonde’s as her muffled voice spills in through a gap in the door.
And Mizi was just shot with a bullet two minutes ago.

Mizi dies and wakes up in an alternate universe if the segyeins never existed and she and her friends study in a collage. Except she’s the only one who remembers. And she gets over it with the power of love and friendship (eventually).

Summary
Growing up in the Anakt Group isn't easy; while it appears like a nice church on the surface, the children inside know that it's fiercely competitive and a fight to survive. With struggles comes hope, and with hope comes despair. All Ivan desires is the happiness and safety of his friends, the people he loves, and he will achieve it at any cost. What he doesn't realize is that sometimes, happiness includes having you around.
Orphanage and adoption and abuse from the "aliens" which are really just the humans all around us; how will Till be able to understand a world he was isolated from, and will he be able to realize what he has before it's gone?
