Tim sipped his drink, staring down his uncle. He had agreed to a lunch. Well more accurately Tim sent a demand to meet up and then threw the phone across the room and fell on his bed freaking out. But he did get a message right after.
Tim just wants to know the version of his dad that his Uncle Hal knew.
And Hal Jordan just wants to know the version of his brother that his nephew knew.
Both wondering of they ever knew Jack at all.

A/N: Apart from the first couple of chapters, which are kind of a set-up for the whole work, the various chapters likely won't be very closely linked with each other, though they are meant to take place in the same universe. Basically, you can probably read one without having to read most of the others. Or, you can just read the summary above, if you would prefer.

Or Tim brings his decideingly un dead biological Uncle Hal Jordan back to the Manor. Tim tries to lie his way out of the fact he's been living alone in the manor. Helena wants this child to have an actual guardian. Hal is trying to hatch a plan. Tim wants his freedom.

One lives out in Coast City as far as Tim ever knew, his name was Uncle Jim.The other, Uncle Hal, is dead.
So what was a little forgery on bringing him back to life legally? It's not like his uncle was a secret superhero who would answer the phone when the police called his guardian.
Uncle Hal was dead.

“Diana! Diana, please,” Barry whispered as he approached the Amazon, unsure if he should explain why there was an unconscious and half-naked Hal in his arms first, tell her when the Lantern had returned to Earth, or if he should shoulder past her and get his boyfriend to the Med Bay, stat.
Barry hated it. He hated how slow his boyfriend’s heartbeat was, how little heat was left in his body, how almost close to death Hal looked right now.
J'onn couldn't get a solid reading of Hal's mind. But from what little information the Martian could tease out, he suspected that Hal was in a different temporal plane. One where his parents were alive.
OR: Hal gets blasted into an alternate timeline where Martin Jordan survives the ill-fated flight.
