“But there’s a way to fix it, right?” Guy asks, a touch gruffly. You’re too busy re-reading the script on your arm, eyes skimming past his fingers curled around your hand, to note the way he’s looking at you. “You just gotta get ‘true love’s kiss’ or some bullshit like that?”
“Yeah, something like that,” you wrinkle your nose at this as you turn your face up to him. “So far, no good—I’m 0 for 8 on breaking the curse.”
“Well, maybe you ain’t lookin’ in the right places,” Guy says, straightening up and puffing out his chest in a (not that you’ll admit it) rather attractive display. “What about me?”
“What about you?” You ask rather opaquely, frowning in confusion. His hand squeezes around your wrist, possessively.
“For the kiss, dumbass.” He says, looking a tad affronted at your obtuseness. “Y’ever think I might be the one to break the fuckin’ curse?”

I saw that douchey kissy face at Savant in the beginning and Harley telling Digger to 'leave him alone' and I'm sorry (but I'm not) my mind instantly went "Yup". So Boomerang and Savant survive, Savant isn't a coward, I freaking hate that he gets called that in the synapsis I found online, and Boomerang is totally a bad guy and has a lot of blood on his hands, but even bad guys need romantic relationships!
This is based on the movie depictions but absolutely imagine the comic versions if that is your preference, if something bothers you please leave helpful criticism, I always wanna grow and do better. Thanks!ALSO sorry I messed up and forgot to double check anyone who had bookmarked, apologies, I caught two and gifted them the story since I figured out how to put it all undr one chapter!
