"Babe," she starts patiently, saying the word in the same tone she uses with Phoebe sometimes, when she's trying to explain something to her. "I'm pretty sure Jamie has a crush on you."

Summary
Since getting together as a couple—throuple technically—although Roy hated that word—they had all gotten really good at planning and coordinating schedules. With synced digital calendars as well as Keeley-made colored-coded ones hanging in each of their kitchens. But really just Keeley’s and Roy’s since Jamie had basically moved in with Roy. One of the most sacred of days was the third Tuesday of the month which was reserved for spa night.

Summary
Apophenia (/æpoʊˈfiːniə/)- the tendency to perceive patterns and connections between unrelated things.
In an effort to increase team spirit, Ted changes up the roommate assignments for away games, sticking Jamie Tartt and Roy Kent together in the hopes that they can put aside their differences. Doing so makes Roy contend with being a better captain and Jamie a better teammate. It also a shines a light on things that Jamie wants to stay hidden. Fortunately for him, Roy can’t let go of the feeling that something is wrong and when things get worse before they get better, Jamie has more than one person in his corner.
_________________In which loans aren’t terminated, James Tartt is the worst, Jamie is just trying his best but struggles with being pulled in two different directions, and Roy Kent proves that he is ride or die even for pricks he definitely doesn't even like.

Summary
The door to his room opened and quietly clicked shut. Roy closed his eyes and took a deep breath, it was either Keeley ignoring his wishes or Phoebe preparing to jump him without any regard to which of his legs were injured because the nurses and incompetent interns weren’t as subtle in their entrances. Either way he needed a moment to compose himself so he didn’t take out his pain and anger on his loved ones. They only wanted what was best for him.
Roy opened his eyes and– “You’ve got to be kidding me. I must be fucking hallucinating.”
The nurses did give him some pretty heavy drugs when he was admitted, so hallucinating didn’t seem too far out of the realm of possibility. It made more sense than a somewhat bloodied Jamie Tartt standing in his room.

Summary
Roy held his gaze for a bit longer, clearly testing to see if he would push any further. When Jamie stayed silent, he nodded curtly and turned to leave. He opened the door, but stood still in the doorway, turning his head back to Jamie one more time, his next words quiet. “Just… be more fucking careful, Tartt. You’re going to get yourself killed.”
Despite the weight of Roy’s words, Jamie’s face broke out into a grin. “Good thing I’ve got you to watch my back, then.”

Summary
Roy has always had an overactive imagination. You wouldn’t guess that from just looking at him – the midnight charcoal-colored shirts and pants, and jackets didn’t really give that impression. But it was true. He was a visual type, too, always needed to see the board before the game to fully understand the strategy. Imagined it during the games, too, the blue magnets against the red ones, moving, switching, pressing.
Which was exactly why the image of Keeley with another person, has been in the back of his mind since he saw them together the other day. Very different pictures, but the core was the same: moving, switching, pressing. It made him sick. It also made him feel disgusting, but it wasn’t something he could help.
So it was strange that now, feet pedaling and hands steering blindly, he wished for those images back. Only Jamie fucking Tartt could make it even fucking worse.
or,
Jamie takes Ted's advice to its natural conclusion. Roy is a little upset.

Summary
Jamie from not long after the semi-final at Wembley finds himself back in the body of his younger self.
Now back in the early days of Ted Lasso's coaching days at AFC Richmond, Jamie is determined to be a better version of himself and not get sent back to Manchester.
Except, making changes when no one believes him is hard.
And now he doesn't have a therapist anymore even though he probably needs one now more than ever.
And it's not like he can just block his dad out of nowhere, is it?

Summary
"Jamie’s fairly certain at this point that it is the natural order of things: you have to go out and drag joy home by the ear if you want any. So, he’s got no problem with that, he never did really. It’s just, well, it’s been increasingly difficult to do that. Or to feel anything other than… He’s not entirely sure what to call the weight pressing down on his chest when he sits in the locker room before training, but it’s that. All the time. And it is fucking Zava’s fault."
...
The evening before Richmond's last training for the Boxing Day fixture, Jamie feels so alone that he decides to go and buy a Christmas tree for the first time in his life. He gets in a car accident on his way there.
He's not sure how he could have alerted anyone of that fact with his phone gone and probably broken to pieces, but people seem weirdly mad about it. Jamie's convinced that's also Zava's fault.

Jamie flopped into the wet grass beside Roy. “Oh, nice,” he said brightly. “Can see a lot of stars all the way out here. See?” His hand brushed Roy’s side as he raised a finger to point. “There’s Perseus.”

Summary
The first time that Jamie watches Phoebe, it’s because Roy is desperate. But Jamie is infuriatingly good at it – like he is at most things – so it becomes a regular occurrence, much to the delight of both Phoebe and Jamie (and Roy, not that he’d admit it).

Summary
Roy folds his arms, glaring. "All right, what the fuck is going on here? Why have you suddenly decided to fancy me?"
"I haven't suddenly decided, I've always fancied you. Just didn't know until today that you'd be up for it."
Roy reminds himself sternly that he cannot murder their star striker the day before a match. "Just because I'm interested in blokes doesn't mean I'm interested in you."
Jamie looks confused. "It doesn't? But..." He gestures at his face as if it's incontrovertible evidence, then down his body like a closing argument.
Roy cannot murder him. The media would be intolerable.

Summary
His beard and hair are both longer, airing just on the right side of scruffy, but besides that Roy looks exactly like he did when Jamie saw him last.
(Limping off the pitch for the last time, covered in mud and looking both jubilant and as if something heavy was settling over his shoulders like a shroud.)
Or: Jamie was never loaned to Richmond. When he took Roy out of the game, the man disappeared and secretly opened a bookshop. And also coached West London U9 girls.
Jamie is looking for a book.
