His contender dismissed him with a swift turn of a head, sharp fangs worrying on his bottom lips, the onslaught of shame gradually manifesting through rosy cheeks. So vampires can blush, huh.

Jing Yuan tried to process all of the absurdities he just heard, before catching eyes with the flushed, pouty vampire who mutters timidly, "I don't purposefully ingest salmonella." As if begging him to not get the wrong idea.
