Fenneko thought she would enjoy her Christmas day without any complications this time around, without a clingy, cringy hyena on her back and call, crying into his drink about not being able to get the plainest girl to notice her. She really envisioned that she would enjoy the holy night with her girlfriend in her hands, but instead, as she did her morning routine and checked her phone for anything new, she was welcomed with a message from Yukiharu that not only did he found Jiro, but that he was taken hostage by the serial killer going under the name of "Lyncher", and that he and the prime minister were in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku.
She bolted out of her apartment without a moment's notice.

It has been a week since Halloween happened, and it has been a week since Jiro has accidentally confessed to his lover about the peculiar kinks and desires he wanted to have with Yukiharu. Even as much as they have regular sex with each other, most of it all boils down to the same position, and while Jiro was very content with it, be it on the receiving or giving side, he still thought that there were some things he hasn’t explored fully with Yuki yet, with the bull being in total agreement with him.

When someone takes their first breath into this world, an invisible chain gets inadvertently placed on the newborn’s wrist, a bond to life. Depending how that someone lives their life and how lucky they were, the chains on the person either grow thicker and run rampant in quantity – inconspicuous, silver chains that burden the beholder of the existence they lead, or they remain as light as a feather, barely causing any kind of strains on the person’s wrist.
Yukiharu never appreciated the restraint that was put on him when he was born as the middle-child of the Ushijima family, a clan prided in might and perfection. When the time came that he was ostracised from the secure familyhold, even through the fear of the unknown, he felt himself liberated, as much as everything in his body was hurting from the circumstances around himself.
It therefore begged the question, if there ever existed a possibility where Yukiharu would favour being restrained, of losing control over himself–because if he preferred the breath of freedom that unrestriction brought him, there’d be no reason for him to take a liking to it.

Having had sex with his best friend turned boyfriend, Yukiharu was quiet pleased with the way his relationship with Jiro was progressing, and while he was considering moving in with him, mostly due to Shikabane pestering him to do so so that the two of them can live in a penthouse, but he was satisfied eating dinner with him, alone.
Much to say, it didn't take that long for the two to get excited while feeling a bit tipsy, as Jiro then had quite a marvellous idea in how they could spice up their sex live.

But before you condemned yourself to a monotonous life of iron bars and hooch wine, you might hear Retsuko describe herself a bit like this:
Hi, my name is Retsuko, and I work in Chararyman’s Accounting division. I’m overworked, passionless and I haven’t had a real hobby or friend since High School, and I think I’ll probably just keep up that way until I die. In my free time, I scream about how mad I am in random karaoke bars. I don’t really know what I’m doing.
This is because, in Retsuko’s eyes, a good personal introduction is one that sounds as if it were ripped straight from your high school’s foreign languages textbook. A good personal introduction is not an admission of your personal failings. A good personal introduction can never be the truth.

Summary
With Haida finally getting together with Retsuko, Fenneko achieved her goal of wingmanning for the hyena. It took him several years and several other incidents to have him and Retsuko together now, with them now having their happily ever after through the marriage contract they signed. She can now breathe peacefully, knowing that she doesn't have to baby and push Haida forward.
However, as luck would have it, her attention has been transferred over from Haida to a hyena that she recognizes being the new and inexperienced, but charming politician from the Liberal Manifest Party, Jiro Haida, after a fateful bumping into the man in the streets. At least she's gonna have some quality dinner this time around, and not a drunk Haida to coach around with. Well, she hopes that's the only thing she's gonna get from the younger brother.

Summary
What if Haida never pieced his life back together, following his time at Anagura? Haida's faults have always defined who he is, and, sometimes our own faults can get the better of us. It's only natural, insecurities hardly define who someone really is, but they can still influence us in one way or another. Decision after decision with only imperfections on the mind will always bear some form of consequence- and some will inevitably have it worse than others.
There'll always be that someone, though, who accepts you for as you are. Strengths, weaknesses, faults, imperfections. A snapshot of the human condition, which hardly bears significance in their eyes. Even if, at the end of the day, you're just another face among the crowd. For Haida- that someone might just turn out to be someone unexpected.
