After a long day at the beach, exhausted from the sun and water, Juno and Wuyang arrive back at the apartment Overwatch provided for them both. Now, sharing wasn’t ideal to them— but, it’s okay now, they’ve gotten used to each-other. Today was a new experience for Juno, she had never gone to the beach before. On the other hand, Wuyang was sorta… connected to water. He was constantly doing water tricks and trying to pull Juno into the water. Juno isn’t really fond of water; it took her ages just to get her spacesuit off. This time though, she wanted to be brave and embrace it. Why go to beach if you aren’t gonna swim? So, Wuyang taught her how to swim… somewhat.

Reader (y/n) was working on Overwatch during the tail end of it's Golden Age but after the 'Venice Incident' and the Petras Act they were put out of commission and blacklisted for 'conspiracy'. Now Reader has to start from square one and build their life back up again but very few employers will take in someone with your *ehem* history. Luckily for you though there are others watching from the shadows who could use your particular sets of skills.
This story follows the Overwatch Cinematics and begins around the time of Storm Rising, references and notes to previous events will appear and I'll try to make it easy to follow and connect the dots, apologies in advance for any confusion.
Also, like my other stories I've written this based on how I imagine the reader (thus it being tagged as femxfem) but I encourage and hope this won't deter any non-binary or male readers from enjoying this as well. The world of Overwatch is diverse, one reason why I enjoy it so much, but writing it this way makes it a lot easier for me

Juno inhaled carefully, as if she was about to step into cold water. “When I met you earlier, Mei called you they. Not he, nor she.. And others followed. I… uh have never heard that before. I wish to understand. Are you a different category of human?” She fidgeted with her hands awkwardly, Juno wasn't exactly sure if that was appropriate to ask.
Venture looked at Juno curiously, then smiled, a soft, genuine smile that melted some of Juno’s stiffness.
“Different category? That’s one way to put it.. I’m non-binary. It means I don’t fit in the traditional gender boxes people made. I'm not a girl or a boy. I'm just..Venture !”Juno’s eyes widened, not with confusion but wonder. “Oh! I see, that is beautiful.. andd.. inspiring?”
