The day of Sunny and Mari's recital has come forth, and as to expected, the two ignite their argument, but this time, instead of Basil having arrived at the house, Aubrey is there instead and stops the incident from occurring. But will this resolution turn to create a better future for them all, or will they all be doomed regardless?

Aubrey stares at herself in the mirror, her hands shaking. She stares at her too-small jacket, her old one stained and thrown away. She stares at her black tank top and her leggings and lack of a nail bat. She stares at the blood on her hands.

Sunny risked his life to escape his dreams. When he moved, he left it all behind. His friends, Headspace, the piano, and the broken violin... Mari. All of it is behind him now. Kel still calls on occasion, inviting him to spend the summer with them, but despite how much he wants to visit, he can’t bring himself to go back to faraway.
...Until one day, the landline to his new home gets a call from the new folks who moved in to their old house. Ever since they found the broken violin, strange things have been happening in the house. A figure with long, black hair in the mirrors, the piano playing itself late at night, and a haunting eye, staring at into the house from the backyard. Sunny doesn’t need to question them further. He knows who it is.
And so, with nothing but a suitcase full of clothes, some cash, and a ticket to faraway, Sunny embarks on a quest to find out that his dreams may have more power of the real world then he might have realized, and to answer the call for help, or blood, that he knows his sister calls him to.

They were everywhere, and they were ready to protect the people with their 9x19mm modified Glocks 19. Their agents were the best of the best, going around busting drugs and trafficking rings, preventing wars... Oh, and there were children, too!
"Basil?" Kel's eyes widened as his blond friend—soft, shy Basil—entered the room wearing the same uniform as the men who had brought him here and a gun strapped to his belt. The metal cuffs encasing his hands to the table rattled as he tried to stand up, the shock of meeting Basil, of all people, in a place like this making him forget his unfortunate current situation.
"Kel?" Basil said, his eyes widening as well as he took in the scene before him: a confused Kel, chained to a table by metal cuffs and with two armed agents standing behind him, guarding the 14 years old boy with the same scrutiny they would a war criminal. "What are you doing here?"
