Summary
Freyja has faced hardships, her experiences in battle have taught her well and she has finally managed to tear herself from the shadows of her family, to be realised as a person with her own reputation. To become a shieldmaiden meant to leave girlhood behind, to be thrown into the harsh wide world without the comforting presence of her mother, she hadn’t expected the trials of womanhood to be so harsh on her so young. Through battle and blood, there is also love and peace, something Freyja must learn if she ever wants to survive the call to battle.

Freyja must realise that love can be snatched from her grip as easily as it was once given to her.
PSA: I do not own Vikings, nor do I own any of the characters, only the ones I have created myself. This follows the entire season 3 storyline. For the sake of continuity I’ve had to slightly condense the timeline of season 3, otherwise this work is canon compliant.

After Porrun there was another wife, Snaefrid they had two children together, another boy-girl set of children, Gudrod and Charalotta. After Snaefrid's death, he moved on with Ingrid, whom he had three boys with Viggo, Axel, and Ebbe. Then the commoner Torvi married up in the world, first with a Borg then with the ex-prince of Denmark and Norway, Erlendur Horkisson. Her life changed a lot.
