Laurent promised his older brother he'd be civil. He promised he would not start fights, especially with Damianos. Laurent's ex-lover, not that Auguste was aware they had ever been together. Which was the whole issue, the lack of publicity about their relationship. It doesn't matter, they broke up months ago.
However, Auguste's and his boyfriend Nikandros' housewarming party sparks feelings of jealousy when Laurent sees Damen's new fling. Laurent's supposed to be moving along, at this event for only one reason. That reason not being to fuck his ex in his brother's bathroom...right? “Damen?” Laurent asks. He stills, waiting for Damen to respond. When nothing is said, he tries to tug his wrists free. No budge.
The two sit in silence for a few moments. Laurent breaks it, calling Damen’s name once more and this time unrelenting in the way he tries to escape. It doesn’t feel funny anymore.
“Be still,” Damen demands.
“Why are you being like this? Let me go.” Laurent says. He’s not still, can feel Damen’s clothed body against his legs as he writhes.
“Why do you dress like this?” Damen suddenly asks, breathless. Lifting his head from Laurent’s neck shows almost a pathetic sight. Damen’s hair is roughed up, his cheeks tinted slightly pink. There’s a small frown on his face and Laurent doesn’t know what to make of it.
“You told me to wear this!”
“I told you to wear that shirt,” Damen argues. “The shorts are all you.”
“Damen-”
“Fuck, do you know what you do to me? You have to. This has to all be a part of some sick prank.”
Laurent shifts awkwardly. He averts his eyes, somehow feeling guilty. Still, he’s stuck in place by the large body that is his best friend.
“Why are you such a slut?”

Laurent, a newly turned vampire with very little knowledge of the supernatural world he's been forced into, bumps into a lost ghost wandering around the streets of Marlas, and decides to help him get justice for his death. However, there are other Supernatural creatures lurking in Marlas, a group led by a charismatic werewolf called Damianos and a mysterious shapeshifter known as Cyra.
AKA a fic where I explore my faves as Supernatural creatures and play around a little. I have a general plot and a direction I can see this going, will try and update monthly! I'm tryna go for the kinda light comedy vibe but with sort of contrasted with dark parts, angst etc, and I've drawn inspiration from many things to kind of attempt to create my own lore on some supernatural beings that will be showing up.
Had a bit of a meltdown and deleted the original fic but I've re uploaded and will be posting once again, unfortunately cannot gaurantee any schedule
(more updates, I abandoned this fic due to many reasons which are summarized in the notes on chapter 7, but I'm back at it again after about 4 years so yay. also Laurent is a trans man now lol)

Damen's hand carefully slides up to the nape of his neck, displacing the fine, golden hair there. "Can I kiss you?" he asks, his voice soft.
"I have never kissed anyone before," Laurent says.
I've always loved fics where couples explore their relationship, boundaries, intimacy and sex, so I decided to try and write my own, set in some kind of modern au, exploring the development of a relationship between a romantically inexperienced Laurent who is still struggling with his past trauma and Damen, divorced from Jokaste after she cheated on him with Kastor, finally moving on and trying to find love again. Also Laurent is transmasculine because as a trans man it gives me euphoria to write him that way idk what to tell y'all. This started off as just snippets here and there but as I wrote more I kind of made a little bit of plot.
