Summary
All it takes is a choice, a singular action to change the course of history. The history of Cherryton Academy is no different to this rule. Follow the life of a student whose most important choice was not his to make but still has to live with the regret, shame, and consequences of said choice regardless as Cherryton goes through the loss of its beloved Tem.
In this story, Legosi is more obviously a hybrid, and for that faces discrimination from his peers. Louis is viler in his treatment of his peers, though easily the worst example of this is his treatment of Legosi, the poor wolf for whatever reason always attracts the worst from the deer. And Melon, despite his history, tries his best to live a normal life despite societies treatment of hybrids like him and Legosi.

The one thing Leano wanted for her son was that he wouldn't suffer like she did, feeling ashamed of her hybrid features, Legoshi's mom had ended her own life one night when he couldn't sleep, and after hearing all of it, it left him traumatized. But as much as Leano didn't want it to happen to him even after her death, only wanting her son to grow up and live a normal life, he suffered a similar fate like her.
Legoshi unfortunately began developing features making him look like his Grandfather, Gosha, a Komodo Dragon, and he's felt ashamed of himself every day after they changed him. Often being shunned by society and other people for him being so strange, and he often felt alone and ashamed for being so different.
When he went to Cherryton Academy, he didn't expect much to change, Even if he did good in school and had some friends, and was in the Drama Club, Legoshi never felt like he could get over his guilt and shame for what he is. But when a student named Tem is murdered, and he meets a Rabbit named Haru, Legoshi begins to meet people who can actually help him, and with the help of a certain security guard who understands his pain, Legoshi may find a way to accept his place in this world as a hybrid.

When Legoshi asks his grandfather to watch his great grandson for an afternoon, Gosha couldn't be prepared to deal with all the feelings that resurfaced from having another hybrid in his care again. Memories of a time where Legoshi was a puppy and Leano was still with them begin to return to him. Summary
It’s been almost 100 years since Order 53 freed the herbivores from servitude, and almost 200 since the end of the War of the Species, the first herbivore revolt.
And yet, since then, progress has stalled. Herbivores may be technically freed, but they still lack many basic rights, living as second-class citizens. Instinct-driven violence against herbivores is legally protected, and many live in fear that the next day may be their last.
Meanwhile, carnivores live in high society. They eat meat, dominate the country's politics, and rampantly discriminate against the subjugated herbivore population. The equality movement has hit a wall, and meaningful change feels more out of reach than ever.
So who would've thought... that it'd be the sons of a local teacher, and a speciesist politician, who would bring the entire system crashing down?

The fates of Legosi Ardyn Lucis Caelum and Melon De La Fruit keep interweaving for the two hybrids are the key to a brighter future that awaits the land of Eos, their roles eeringly parallel to Noctis Lucis Caelum and Ardyn Lucis Caelum. Legosi is a popular wolf at school, the girls love him, his teachers adore him, he has two doting grandparents, and Although his reserved nature makes it hard to communicate, he has many friends.
Dealing with chronic pain while being a victim of bullying and the jealousy of one of his classmates, Bill, causes a fight that ends with him getting seriously hurt. Depressed and tired of living a life of limitations, he decides that he wants to end his life…and almost takes Bill with him.
This story is based on two stories that I really enjoy very much.

They have a similar premise to this story which was inspired by them, I cannot recommend them enough.

The last avatar passed away 18 years ago. The next was supposed to be a reptile. The world has spent the last 18 years searching and failing to find the new avatar among Clan Squamata, and most people have given up. "The balance is missing," "the bridge must have died," and society edges ever nearer to new clan wars.
Legosi has tried to stay hidden for so long, and it is killing him. Being the avatar is eating him up from the inside out, trying to break out, but all Legosi really wants to do ... is watch his classmates bending...

Summary
The sudden murder of Louis' only friend, an alpaca by the name of Tem, leads Louis to discover things about the nature of his lineage that had been suppressed deep down within him his entire life. Is he truly the broody, unimportant herbivore he is outwardly believed to be, or is there something dangerous and feral within?
Legoshi was born into the hyperdrug trade but freed and adopted under suspicious circumstances as a toddler. Now, he's become the most popular and hardworking student at Cherryton academy. However, after Tem's murder, he finds his role as the center of the drama club questioned and himself at the center of a schoolwide conflict between carnivores and herbivores. Worse still, the very secrets and lies his whole life is built around are under threat of being revealed to everyone, threatening to destroy everything the wolf loves.
The only thing they both truly know is that the killer is out there on the loose, and someone has to stop him.(Rework of a fic I started but never delved deep into back in 2023.)
