Summary
I stared down at myself. Red dress. Long black limbs. I reached up, expecting to feel hair, and my weirdly thin, spindly fingers touched two smooth curved horns.
“No freaking way.”
I was in the game.

So what do you do when you wake up in Silksong on the morning of release day?
Get right into saving Pharloom, of course.

Summary
Alternate Lacenet universe based on Beauty and The Beast. Hornet replaces the Hollow Knight, being the one who carries The Radiance inside of her mind, to give her siblings a life outside of the terrible purpose they were created for, resembling the curse. Lace is the white knight that will get rid of her burden, or, at least that is what she strives for.
The Everbloom is the flower that reflect's Hornet's state of mind, embedded to her emotions, which are slowly ebbing away with the rest of her body. It's on her own claws to remember the determined warrior she was before falling into the maws of The Radiance, in order to keep her shell strong, unable to bound another kingdom to despair. Even though Lace made it her duty to "help" Hornet, she knows little about feelings. Her only purpose is to satisfy her mother, and she will do whatever it takes to strip this disease from the Weaver. She refused to fail on her task, but Hornet wouldn't make it easy for her at all. Her curiosity and envy would bring her to the edge, to experience something she would rather stab herself than to embrace. To love another who saw her as a real bug, instead of the empty shell that she was, and forever would be.

Summary
Hornet awakes in a foreign land, finding her precious lace and the threads to make it destroyed with her cage. All that remains is her needle, her green ribbon, and her deep silence. It is up to the denizens of Pharloom to parse this strange spider and her sacred work, and for Hornet to overcome what she has lost. As Hornet treads the typical path of the game, the effect of her silence expands like ripples.
Features original poetry, HK-inspired folklore, and new or completely reworked character arcs. Inspired by Talis Kimberley's Queen of Spindles, the traditional folk tale of the 7/11/6/12 swans, and my own trusty drop spindle. Updates as long as this hyperfixation lasts, and when I feel like it.

Summary
"Did you touch them, did you hold them? Did they follow you to town?
They make me feel I'm falling down...They make me feel I'm falling down.
Was there one you saw too clearly? Did they seem too real to you?
They were kids that I once knew..." Dead Hearts, Stars.Hornet found joy in Bone Bottom, fleeting moments of joy. She knows not how to react when she remembers how easily joy is taken from her.
