“Can you take me to the healing pod?” Lance asks with furrowed brows and a hand over his mouth. Keith nods and helps him out of the observation deck, glaring at Lotor on his way out.
“Is it too presumptuous of me to ask that our negotiations go on?” Lotor asks.

A Voltron rewrite/fix-it focused on redeeming Lotor and developing Lance and Keith's relationship with the only major canonical difference being that Keith grew up with the Blade of Marmora.

Keith has run into a very annoying, very attractive and tall, flirtatious problem that goes by the name of Lance McClain. They met that fated day, when Lance wandered into the woods (that no one but Keith and now him would ever dare to go into) and found his lil' log cabin. Chaos ensues but Keith just can't bring himself to kick his ass off of his property. What he sees, besides Lance falling flat on his ass and knocking all his shit over into the mud, is like nothing he's ever seen before. A bright blue, intense aura. Powerful. A blue that was almost as vibrant and beautiful as the blue oceans inside his eyes. The 23 year old hermit witch just cannot seem to figure out why... Why would this bumbling idiot have such power?
It wasn't like he knew how to use it, and he certainly had not been corrupted by Quintessence...so what was it with this guy?

It really was remarkable how his eyes changed to resemble those of pure Galra. It would have scared him if not for all the tiny, almost inconsequential details he held in his memory of this man.
Alec merely rolled his eyes. "Haven't you been listening. I. Don't. Know. And to think Lance said you were smart." Keith was pratically growling as he pulled his arms off of his shirt. Keith's got a problem, but he's not sure what it is. And it's all Lotor's fault. If they'd never rescued him in the first place, then Keith wouldn't be so confused by his own damned body. As it is, he's worn Lance out and he's getting weird looks from everyone. Even weirder than the ones the Blade give him, and those are certainly something. Asking anyone about it is out of the question, but even Lance has started to complain about being completely worn out, and Keith just doesn't understand, even though he wants to. It's not until Shiro corners him in the training deck's showers, frustrated and unable to find relief, that Keith begins to suspect it might be something to do with his Galra blood. When Shiro practically drags him to Lotor, he's suspicious but hardly susprised. And there begins an awkward introduction to Keith's funky Galran biology.
