To be frank, she hadn't ever really thought of leaving the village. Well, not forever at least.
It was all she'd ever known, it was the only place she knew how to be who she was. She knew how to be an orphan, she knew how to be an errand runner, she knew how to survive. She knew what to bring the ladies Dimitrescu so they never thought to bring her inside their castle, she knew to greet Miss Beneviento in public but never to even step foot on her property. She knew she did not even want to bother with Salvatore Moreau and she knew how to be just useful enough for Heisenberg. She did not know how to be anything else.
But, the village was not safe. Despite what everyone else seemed to think, this was not true. Sacrificing the few for the good of the many did not strike Neci as safe, even if the many then got to lead, normal, dull, toll driven lives. The village was not safe.
Watching her neighbor get his throat ripped out outside, a part of the many, Neci winced. The village was not even a little safe. Maybe she should have thought more about moving on.

Rose is a bratty teenager with very little to no regard for her father's rules. Ethan is a very tired parent whose day job is being president of an entire nation. He hopes a family vacation to a remote village with no internet access will do their relationship some good.
Instead, Rose makes the acquaintance of some local monsters, befriends Romania's very own Kurt Cobain, obtains a pet lycan and somehow it just makes her even worse.Contains, in no particular order, Alcina unwillingly playing hide and seek in her own damn castle, Daniela setting fire to the furniture, Donna desperately trying to be normal and Angie being incredibly unhelpful, Heisenberg discovering modern rock music, Mother Miranda attempting to introduce Christianity to her village while acting like she's not hiding a massive mold baby in her basement, and Moreau pretending to be an overgrown fish in a pond.
It doesn't go well to absolutely nobody's surprise.
