Summary
A curse is inflicted on a castle, turning the princess into a hideous beast. A young village girl is considered an odd girl in her village despite her beauty. She wishes for freedom from their snide remarks and the constant marriage proposals from two suitors. When her grandfather is captured by the princess, Anne switches places with him for his safety. And becomes the beast’s prisoner.
During the long time they are together, Anne and Sasha slowly fall for each other. Anne falls for the beast as she sees the golden heart hidden under the rough interior. Sasha falls for Anne for who she is and not just her beauty.

Together, the girls become friends with the large planet's inhabits, go on many interstellar journeys with the Plantars, and try to stop a intergalactic threat on this planet, to save not only Amphibia, Earth, but the entire UNIVERSE itself!
