Summary
He threw open the door to the cabinet, only to be faced with two small elflings.
Twins.
Fuck.
Perhaps after three kinslayings his mind was truly broken. Perhaps the blow to the head he received had done him more harm than he thought if he was seeing double.
Then one of them locked eyes with him.My take on the "surprise adoption" done by Maedhros and Maglor

Summary
Maedhros had given up on escaping from Angband himself. They never left him lightly guarded when he was hale enough to run. But that didn't keep him from plotting to help someone else.
Lirulin didn't know what to think when the red-headed thrall freed her and her family from their chains. But it gave them the chance to implement their laboriously planned escape attempt, so they didn't question their luck.
Later, after Lirulin was free, she drew a map of Angband for Fingon. Even though she thought he was crazy. To her joy, she soon learned of Fingon’s success, and then bore witness to his strong friendship with Maedhros.
This story can stand on its own, you do not need to have read any of the other stories in this series(es). None of the AU elements of my series as a whole preclude this story from working more or less within the general framework of canon.

Inspired by “All That Remains” by theScrap_Witch
While Pimpernel “Nell” Took and her mother and sisters are staying by the sea for the winter, she hears stories of a monster living in a nearby cave, seemingly all skin and bones and rags, clutching a wooden box possibly filled with Elven treasure.
Being the curious and compassionate Hobbit she is, Nell packs a basket full of food and sets off to find the monster. The monster, on his part, cannot fathom why this small creature brings him food and insists on chattering his ears off. But the “Hobbit” hasn’t even mentioned his box, much less tried to take it from him. And…he cannot remember the last time someone showed him any form of kindness…
So he allows her to stay.Series

Summary
Oh, he knew that body well. He’d explored it again and again, mapped out every curve, made it his home. Every inch of it so uniquely Maitimo, strong but not unyielding, soft in a way that never belied his fierceness. Every single reaction a feast, widening eyes and thundering heart and the little sounds he'd stopped restraining once he’d noticed just how much Findekáno liked them.
“Russo,” he panted, wrapping the braid around his hand and pulling just hard enough to make those beautiful hips jerk. “Bed. Now.”

Summary
Her position wouldn’t have existed before the breaking of the Two Trees. She isn't old enough to remember it, born here in Beleriand, but she’d heard enough about it. Elves traditionally do not love lightly, only desiring their husband or wife, the partner of their soul, for as long as they and Arda remain.
But neither do Elves traditionally kill their kin, or fight a desperate, unceasing war that nobody can imagine how to win. Nor should they sacrifice themselves in single combat with Morgoth, or become thralls to Angband, or…
Here, it is different. There are enough broken people, whose husbands or wives are dead, whose families are destroyed, who have had no kind or intimate touch or a place to leave their grief in centuries. She couldn’t do much, couldn’t fix the tragedies they were ensnared in, but she could give comfort, or pleasure, and when she could, in a world without much of either, she was proud to.
Sex workers probably aren't very Tolkien, but neither are lots of things that the Elves did in Beleriand, so it got me thinking. What if?

Summary
"I was young, and the world had not yet lost its luster. I saw my father and all my brothers take the oath, and so did I, one after another. It felt so simple. And for that I have been hundreds of years far from home, and I will never see my mother again. Do not swear such oaths rashly as I did."
The campaign at Sirion went differently than what they expected. Different, perhaps, from what anyone expected. And now Amras is gone, and Amrod and Celegorm and Caranthir and Curufin. If circumstances allowed it, the grief would weigh unbearably on Maglor every minute like a chain around his neck. But there is work to be done. And two strange peredhil in his care. And Maedhros, usually so reliable, is off now on his own wanderings.
"Would that the dead were not dead!" Nevertheless, Maglor presses forward.Book 2: A Seeming Respite
