Summary
Magnus knew Alec was strong, not just physically. But he only notices the extend of Alec's strength in the aftermath of Jace's abduction at the hands of Valentine.
When Alec breaks down because he can't handle the pressure and worry and fear anymore, Magnus is there to hold him and Magnus is willing to promise him the world to make him feel better.
But Alec doesn't want the world. Alec just wants Jace, safe and with them.
Magnus decides, that Alec should have everything he could ever want. Including Jace.

Summary
When Magnus had invited Jace into his loft, he hadn't really intended to also invite Jace into his relationship with Alec. But after Madzie moves in with them, Magnus starts to realize that seeing Jace with her makes his heart leap the same way as seeing Alec with her does and falling in love with Jace happens nearly natural.
One afternoon, Magnus decides that it would be a nice and romantic idea to take his Shadowhunters and their daughter to a fair. What he did not count in was the competitiveness of Jace and Alec and all too soon, Magnus and Madzie find themselves buried under a pile of stuffed toys and other winnings.
(Aka: The family feels and fluff fest I craved after watching 2x10!)

Summary
Somehow, Magnus became the Alpha to a pack of four Shadowhunters and a vampire. He's still a bit unsure how, but that happened and somehow, they all ended up living at his loft. Also unsure how that happened.
He does, however, know how he got the most perfect mate - his beta, his love, his Alec.
He also knows how he slowly fell for a certain reckless, bratty omega. The problem? Well, Jace goes into heat, Magnus kind of didn't calculate for that and may perhaps accidentally... destroy Jace's nest. But in his defense, how was Magnus supposed to know it was a nest? Now all there is left to do is hope that Alec will a) fix this mess and b) not tear Magnus into shreds for upsetting Jace...

Summary
Years of experience and Valentine's shitty parenting have led Jace to believe, rather firmly, that true, romantic love isn't meant for him. He came to accept that quite some time ago and likes to mask it with a cocky grin and a lot of meaninless, empty sex.
But then the impossible happens and Magnus and Alec invite him into their relationship, tell him that they love him and... Jace is willing to do anything to keep them, even though he doesn't really understand why they're here, with him, to begin with.
So he thinks that agreeing to whatever it is they want to try in bed would be okay, because it's for them and it makes them happy and he doesn't know any other way to make them happy. Until he really, really makes them upset, because he doesn't use their safeword and slips into a flashback about his time on Valentine's ship...

Jace did it. He finally pushed Magnus too far and the warlock punishes him - by turning him into a Golden Retriever.
Which might really piss Jace off in the beginning, but then he kind of really gets used to all the attention and coddling and cuddling. He enjoys being their 'good boy' without having to work so damn hard for everything and yet still never being enough for anyone.
So when Jace's punishment ends and he's not so successfully turned back human - the ears and tail remain, thank you very much, Magnus - things in the loft might just change a bit. Because Alec and Magnus? They'd like to keep Jace as their puppy too.
