Summary
Hiroki Mori experienced the worst pain any man, woman, or enby can experience. His life turned upside down after a month of meeting the new transfer student, Bert, that entered his life. When Bert first kicked his ass, he thought that would be the end of encountering him. However, after days of being beaten to the ground, his girlfriend became colder and distant, his older sister's teasing became flat-out bullying, his best friend became arrogant and harsh, and his mother became cold and never gave him proper care. After another beat down dished out by Bert, Hiroki went back home only to discover not only his girlfriend, but also his best friend, older sister, and mother were fucking his bully on his bed, belitting him and talking trash behind he back, he had enough.
Hiroki ran away from home, and that was the last time the four girls and Bert would see Hiroki alive. They were given the news of Hiroki's death the next day after he ran out. So how was it possible for the four girls to be watching Hiroki live out his life in a dystopian future city called 'Night City' and why the hell is this dead rocker-boy so damn annoying!

“Jesus, V. Can’t a guy get some decent smokes sometime?”
V laughed, pulling out the sky blue one. She’d over stuffed it, but it looked like exactly what she needed right now.
Seemed like she’d stumbled on another stupid big something. And here she was, hoping it could just be another Thursday.
“It is another Thursday,” Johnny said, “We’re always falling into some stupid shit.” He punctuated that by taking a drag of his own digital smoke. She nodded, lighting her own smoke up, glad the blood had dried enough that she wasn’t getting any smeared on the paper.

5th of August 2013. Alteria Cunningham dies. Arasaka Tower is under attack, a relative success on the terrorists' part.
20th of August, Johnny Silverhand and Santiago Aldecaldos flee together, to the deserts of NUSA.2015, it's summer again and the rockerboy's actually back again. To celebrate, and keep the grasp of the Japanese megacorporation off their back, a tour in the UK is organized. And a new post for an art agent is created, to give the band a much needed, fresh coat of paint.
Enters V, bullshitter extraordinaire, looking to hole themselves a shelter in the world. Somehow, this should all go alright.

But the Blackwall's vice is Alt's too and soon she finds herself locked into a prison of her own memories. Alt thinks there is nothing left of her humanity and nothing to fear from Placide's threats of torture.

Kris Sano is Vincent Bronson's only hope. A biotech genius who has worked on Arasaka's engram program for nearly four decades straight, and once a notable figure in the upper class of Night City's residents way back when, but times have changed, and now she's a hermit living in Glenbrook, Nevada with an army of makeshift robots and androids.
Johnny doesn't trust her, that's obvious, and even a promise of a new body, artificial or not, isn't enough to bring him on board. An Arasaka is always an Arasaka, and Kris is no different than the other corpo snakes slithering her way by scandals, backstabbing, and betrayal to get to those rivers of gold across her skin. Ideals don't change that quickly. He knows she's rotten deep down.
But that's the beauty, isn't it? Two enemies who find common ground, and realize, the other side isn't so bad.

V attempts to pick up the pieces of her and Judy's relationship, and save her own life, after a tumultuous morning in Laguna Bend.
I really enjoyed the relationship between Judy and V but I thought it could use a little more angst. V is dying so I thought she'd be a little less than eager to Uhaul it with Judy, at least in the beginning.
It starts post Pyramid Song. There is slight canon divergence in the early chapters but it increases significantly later on, hope you enjoy the ride!
