It has been a long night for the pack, most of it spent running from the hunters that had caught wind of their existence and the last few hours before dawn crouching among various outcrops of rock on the mountain. It’s far from their usual territory and further still from their base, but this many hunters was not a number they could fight. Hiding wasn’t the honourable option - it was the one that kept them alive.
