They had only been amplified since she confessed them to Margaret, and Margaret admitted that she felt the same way. What they had was exhilarating, there was no denying that. Sia could never tire of simply existing near Margaret. She accompanied her on long walks and sat beside her at any opportunity presented to her. Sia had grown so close with Margaret over the years, so much that she dreaded moments away from her. Yet, her old habits of formality still remained.

She’s only just calmed John down, perhaps she should not mention this now.
“-that fog, yes,” He finishes. His voice only slightly wavers. “He’s been working non-stop once again, hasn’t he? Samuel always does throw himself into ways to help where he can.”
She can’t see the Brick Satellite that well in the daylight, but her gaze rises to where it would rest in the sky. How many bricks had Samuel laid for it, working well into the night? “Sometimes, I believe he may be the strongest of all of us,” she says. “No matter what, he stays by the sides of those he cares for, working himself to the bone to see it through. But even he needs to rest eventually.”

A man that Samuel knows, who left him wondering if he’d lost his mind, is smirking languidly as he reclines on Rose’s bed like a cat, limbs sprawled out on that bed. Like he knows exactly where he is, and exactly how much of a violation it is.
