To the benevolent reader: very few of the actual historical facts have been kept as read in references of Wikipedia (yes, I know, not a lot of research was put into this endeavor, but it was the best I could do). Efforts were made to retain the relationships as they are in the Sengoku game. But, dates and many other details have been altered to suit the progress of the story. Also, for the sake of this story, multiple wives and concubines are lost in the forgotten pages of history, blown away by a vengeful wind that has no name, and may they not bother us ever again! An idea to get me off writer's block that I often hit, soon turned into a fun story!
Enjoy our very own old-fashioned and steamy Master Chef, ladies and gentlemen!
For each chapter, a recipe Marina loves to eat will be chosen and one or more cooking partners will join her in cooking it. Recipes will most likely be Greek, Arabic and Italian, as Marina is very proud of all heritages! The full ingredient list and way of cooking will be detailed in the chapter, but one will need to scout for them!
Cooking may occur in Azuchi or Kasugayama castle kitchens, in both towns' tea shop kitchens, in the docks, in a temple, in the forest or up a mountain! No-one really knows!
For each chapter, Marina will choose one or more sous-chefs to help her in cooking.There are no fix relationships here, everyone is fair game. Things may or may not turn romantic, but there will be no heavy smut.

Mitsuhide is the Relationship and Sex education professor at Black Label High school. He is a very sexy, very seductive teacher, and soon becomes the talk of the school for yet another year. Now, you would think this is a “Mitsuhide tries to get the girl 5 times and fails, and then makes it happen on the sixth time!” kinda story, but no!
Hideyoshi is the principal of the school, an old friend of Mitsuhide. Life happened, they drifted apart, but who knows… Is this a 5 + 1 where Mitsuhide will finally get Hideyoshi? Maybe… Yet!

This is not a warlord or vampire-related story. It is merely a confession that needed to be told. A passing of the flame, so to speak. This month is the month I am reminded of two friends I lost early on. The reasons I lost them are not relevant, nor are their life stories. But they were different. They were the kids I was not supposed to hang out with. The older, rebellious, outcasts, metalheads, that smoked and were brutal and violent. The bad seeds. The ones that were not to associate with a quiet, nice girl.
This is dedicated to the memory of my two dark angels. My two fallen angels. Many came after them, but they opened the door.
