Summary
Right after the U-20 match, Shidou had been feeling nothing but boredom like there had been anything to do other than rethink about life and his plays with a certain genius. But he doesn't want to think about the genius, it'll make him feel more hollow on the inside, like how he wasn't satisfied with their last encounter. Yes, he did get his number but it still wasn't enough for him.
Well, he decided to forget about the genius and take a walk for some shibuya fresh air. Meeting Karasu and Otoya along the way, he exchanged info with them and casually refused their invites to their hangout with the other. Unbeknownst to him, those decisions of his would lead him to meet a certain genius he had been thinking of and even trying to get rid of him from his mind.

Shidou met Sae again in Shibuya after the match and have some bonding time.

Being roommates with two virtual strangers didn’t seem like it’d be all that bad, Infact over these months of them rooming they’ve grown quite tight.. But there's just one thing that sets them all apart and that was their sleeping schedules.
Yukki would typically wake up at 7am and start his day fresh, putting a lot of effort into his personal hygiene, also the fact he had a lot of morning classes and when he didn’t he’d be at the studio.
Karasu was complicated however, he by far had the most stressful major out of the 3 being in business, so that made his sleeping schedule very inadequate - in a cram till 4am or waking up at 8. It was never consistent.
Otoya had the sloppiest way of living, intentionally staying up to unholy hours partying, it was a typical experience for him to sneak into Yukki’s bed while he was sleeping or curling up to Karasu whilst he was studying.

He passes the ball with a clean chop of his right foot, and, as the U20 defenders move to stop Isagi, they leave an opening for Otoya to break through and act as bait so Isagi can shoot -- or maybe he’ll pass it to Rin as Sae leaves to mark Otoya. If he doesn’t, it’s a pass to Yukimiya. The ball ends up in the net either way.
Except it doesn’t.
A white jersey appears to his left.
“I’ll sweep you off your feet, Princess.”
And then he’s
falling.
He tries to catch himself on his right leg but he had been getting ready to pass and it’s a clumsy slide tackle from Ryusei Shidou, who doesn’t care what he destroys, so instead his right leg is taken right out from under him and there’s nothing stopping him from hitting the ground.
There’s nothing stopping him from shattering like glass.
