Summary
Jiang Cheng was content with his life. He had his sect, which he built with his own hands, his people, whom he selected personally one by one after the massacre of Lotus Pier. He had Jing Ling - his pride and joy and everyone who were important to him finally found their happy end. So why couldn’t he sleep at night? And why was he feeling so much worse than before?
Lan Xichen was a broken man. Betrayed by his sworn-brother, being a tool for killing his other sworn-brother, doing nothing when everyone turned against the one person his brother loved the most and even letting his elders and his uncle punish his poor little brother. Just to learn that everything he believed in, everyone he trusted was false. How could he have been so blind? Why was he the only one to survive?
Both men, broken by fate and gotten let down by the gods, were living with guilt and regret. But one day the appearance of a divine being changed everything they knew. A broken connection and lost feelings, can this unique journey change everything for the better or is it already too late to start anew?

Summary
There was a saying among the dragonkin of the sea, that their souls would trill with song whenever they were fortunate enough to encounter their soulmates.
It was a tale as old as time, or at least as old as dragonkind had existed. Whispered in hushed, reverent voices, passed on from parents to starry-eyed children during their early years spent in the creches situated at the bottom of the seabed.
As a child, Lan Huan, a water dragon, gets lost and is rescued by a merman, Jiang Cheng. In that instant, he recognises the merman as his soulmate and promises to return to marry him one day. Years later, it is Jiang Cheng's coming-of-age ceremony, and the dragon must beat out Jiang Cheng's suitors to win his hand in marriage if he hopes to fulfill his promise.

It’s probably not what Lan Qiren and Lan Wangji wanted for him when they sent him on this vacation, but Lan Xichen needs to know what’s going on here. The only thing his research turned up were tales of mermaid and Lan Xichen is not ready to believe that.

Jiang Cheng never have knowledge on the surface or how human living with their two legs and not a fish tail like him. He don't know how to speak any of the language, can only gestures of movements, and so on. Without any knowledge, without anyone like his friend called a lover, he dwells on the land of murky waters.
There is the actor, model, flutist musician, cream of the crop among his peers known as Zewu-Jun and Lan Xichen from public. He's the most sought man in this generation, the most precious guy ever who's nice, polite with utter kindness. However, he is single dog but rumoured to be in love with his one sworn brother Jin Guanyao.
Both of them are different in kind, one is an oblivious stubborn, awkward merman and then one is a famous kind, gentleman actor.
