Mastering the art of Fuuinjutsu was the natural path for Iruka. It was the jutsu that the Fourth Hokage used to save his village from the demonic Nine-Tails. Investigating Konoha’s restrictive archives leads him to gain the Tenshigan, allowing him to see the once invisible forgotten ghosts, terrifying spirits, and sadistic demons walking the world and seal them within himself. A boy with sunshine-blond hair that shot in all directions and bright ocean-blue eyes grinned like a fox, his sharp canines on display. The three whisker-like marks across each cheek didn’t help make the gesture more human. He wore bright orange pants and a black shirt, with a matching orange jacket secured around his waist. He sped up, jumping from rooftop to rooftop away from his pursuers.This is the first chapter of a much bigger work. I'd like to see how well this goes before finishing it and posting it in its entirety. For the most part, this will be a rewrite of the first episode of Naruto.

This basically just takes the very first episode of the anime, scoots it forward in the timeline, and makes it more found family-ish.

It's a shame the peaceful visits don't quite last forever, but in the shinobi world, peace rarely does last long.
