He didn’t stop climbing the stairs until he was on the roof, and it was only something he did when he was truly exhausted and terrified of passing out on the subway. But no one ever asked any questions, so he didn’t stop. He slid across the gravel until he was standing over the edge of the roof. Standing over the edge was still as terrifying and exhilarating as it was ten years ago.
Without hesitation he jumped off the edge, and this time?
He flew.

The credits rolled quickly, as the streaming service popped up saying the next episode was about to start. "What was that?" Shouto asked.
His niece Hanako turned back "Mr. Deku! It's me and Kaychan's favorite show! Mr. Deku is so nice. Kaychan looooves Mr. Deku." She poked her sister. Kaori looked away with a blush "Daddy and Dad put it on before bedtime a lot!"
