“Back again?” Steve asked the creature fondly. There weren’t many souls who got lost as often as this one. Falling into obsessive cycles of work that consumed it. It was hard not to feel a little attached to his most frequent visitor.
Steve's body may have been frozen, but his mind and soul were not idle, instead he spent the years in the ice traversing a place known as The Zone, which souls enter when their passions create a euphoric trance. But The Zone can become a trap for obsessed, lost souls and one soul seems to get lost more frequently than others.
