Summary
When the Avengers are called away on a dangerous mission, Steve Rogers is left behind—heavily pregnant with twins and restless with worry. To protect him, Tony programs FRIDAY to filter the mission reports, keeping Steve from knowing the risks his family is facing in the field. But when Bucky is gravely injured in the fight, the truth comes crashing down as the team returns without him at Steve’s side.
Steve refuses to leave Bucky’s bedside in the Stark Medbay, even as exhaustion and stress threaten his own health and the babies he carries. Days blur together in a haze of fear, until Bucky finally wakes—and the two men are forced to face their pain, their fears, and the weight of a future they’ve fought too hard to lose.
Together, with the support of their team, Steve and Bucky begin to heal—finding hope, strength, and love in the promise of their growing family.
