Summary
He took a couple splashing steps towards the entrance when he heard something from behind him. Immediately, he whipped around, biting back another cry of pain at the sudden movement.
“Is somebody there?” Sam demanded, curling his hands into fists. He wasn’t at all sure that he could handle a fight with the way his head throbbed, but there was no way he was going down after his insane stroke of luck.
Nothing responded, but just ahead, he could see something shift in the water ahead of him. It was then that the smell hit Sam. Blood.---
Sam meets a strange sea beast named Max and struggles to keep his true identity a secret from the public, while falling in love along the way.
