Kagetsu cleared his throat, leaning in close enough to the Divine Dragon’s face that the tips of his fringe dared to tickle the deity’s nose. “Divine One, if you do not wake this instant, I will have to simply quiz you awake.”
He moved even closer. Alear was so close now that Kagetsu could easily make out each pore on their skin, each individual eyelash, even the smooth blush on their cheeks - how could one person be so perfect? - and it would only take the slightest movement to actually steal a kiss from the Divine Dragon.
Oh, if Kagetsu were only so brave.
It's Kagetsu's turn to wake up the Divine Dragon and his promise of a morning quiz goes awry.
