Volo paused, blinking at him. Their eyebrow furrowed a bit, lips pressing into a thin line; then, they let out a scoff, shaking their head. "I still believe that's a ridiculous name, for the record." Is what they responded with, causing a chuckle to leave Adaman's throat.
"Yeah, yeah. I know ya do." He shrugged. "But still. I wanna know. So, do you?"
Months after getting together, Adaman asks Volo if they could try something new.

Summary
In the immediate aftermath of beating the stuffing out of Arceus with Cynthia, Volo thought things were going to get a lot simpler. They thought they'd be heartless enough to condemn an entire world to death.
Whoops, turns out they're wrong. Now instead of bottling all their problems up and hanging on to the hope that becoming a god can solve everything, they've got to do things the mortal way: messy and chaotic and with plenty of tears.
And Cynthia? She's here to gamble on the fate of the whole world. As far as she's concerned, this isn't a world crisis, but a family crisis.

A dark-skinned man with a puffy hat, a tanned girl with vivid red eyes and a ragged coat, and a bipedal Pokémon with yellow fur and oddly sharp whiskers.She tried to remember what the heck was going on... and found she could remember almost nothing about... anything. She could only recall a few words or phrases.
Lucas... Barry... Auntie Cynthia... Kyogre and Groudon.
