(I've been playing way too much outcome memories. soooo)
Metal had failed. Father had given him 3 clear directives.
Primary Command: Protect Father. Secondary Command: Protect Survivors. Tertiary Command: Destroy the Faker.
He had failed them all. Everyone was gone. He was the last one standing. And the Faker… there was nothing he could do except stall him.
Heavily damaged, Metal escaped through a massive green ring, farther than he could've imagined.
He landed in the slums of Lugunica’s capital and found someone… worthy of calling F̶a̶t̶h̶e̶r̶ Master. A naive, slightly incompetent black-haired boy named Natsuki Subaru.

Metal Sonic from outcome memories is thrown into the world of Re: zero right after everyone else got cut from life. And decides to instantly latch onto Subaru. What fun!
(Also, I've decided to make Subaru a little more competent in the mechanical aspect.)
