Summary
She did not have the same curl of hot desire which threaded its way through his own love, but it was open, expansive, generous. Their love was a warm hearth fire on a cold night, a refuge, something to build with. He was not surprised, now, that she had only spoken of their love, and not her own; for her love was an action, a building together of a life. It did not make sense for her to speak of her own love, when for her love was collaborative rather than singular. Solas was beginning to see what she might desire in games of sensation, continually at odds with her physical body and desirous of something she could control, when she felt too much, or perhaps something to create a map to that confusing and shifting landscape that was her body.
Bull rolled onto his back, then rubbed the base of his horn.
“You’ve gotta be shittin’ me, kadan,” he said. “You want to break into the fucking Fade? Not an expert on this Chantry bullshit, but pretty sure the last time some asshole magister tried that, we ended up with the fucking Blight.”Solas and Lavellan are figuring things out in the Fade. Her friends would like to have her back.

Summary
The sun had set when they reached Redcliffe, and Dorian had a brief moment of panic when he thought they might stay at the Gull. To his relief, they only stopped to refresh the horses. Standing there, waiting for fresh mounts, Dorian could just make out the roof of the Gull- its chimney puffing black smoke into the purpling sky. If he never went back there, it would be too soon. Without the Inquisitor, he’d never have gone in the first place. Then it finally dawned on him that he’d be speaking to the Inquisitor for the first time since… Well, it’s not that Dorian was precious about fondling men. But, as a rule, he rarely saw them again after. And he certainly didn’t work with them. So don’t be precious about it now, he told himself. If it had meant anything, surely the Inquisitor would have said something. Maker’s sake, the Herald of Andraste had bigger things to worry about. They all did.
***
In my head, the events of DAI are Varric's version of the story. So this is a *mostly* cannon-compliant account of Lavellan and Dorian's relationship from "Last Resort of Good Men" into "Here Lies the Abyss." It delves into themes of: structural inequality, grief/loss, and the horrifying ordeal of being known. -

Summary
Lore divergence incoming!
In this timeline, Solas didn’t tear down the Veil, but he didn’t mend it either. He’s still out there, while the Old Gods stir and whisper to their future agents. Or do they? The world isn’t ending yet, but it’s certainly shifting. Veilguard never forms, because the Inquisition never stopped chasing their Trespasser-given goal: The Inquisitor, the softie, swore to save Solas.Rook is an Orlesian bard of questionable morals, working for the Inquisition after his dear friend Leliana hired him. He moves between countries, masks, and names with ease.
His job? Stab, seduce, and spy—
Then a target places him in the path of Master Assassin Lucanis Dellamorte. Their meeting is a complication. None of Rook’s tricks land quite right. He may have to assume an entirely unpracticed role—and try being himself for the first time in his life. *Disgusted noise.*Of course, Solas is out to destroy Thedas too, but that’s barely important.

Summary
Dorian is used to being a secret: a hand under the table, a sly smile, an alcove tryst. It's a funny thing, then, when the most secretive man he's ever met — Inquisitor Renan Lavellan, a cagey Elf that frowns when you so much as ask whether he enjoyed dinner — resolutely refuses to hide him, unconcerned with how their friendship might impact his image.
Renan, on the other hand, is used to going unnoticed: a cloak in an alley, a healer in the forest, and now, a polite inquisitor in Chantry finery. It's a deeply unsettling thing, then, when the most ostentatious man he's ever met — Dorian Pavus, a proud Tevinter mage that not only brightens but commands every space he enters — sees through the regalia and into the core of him. Even worse, seems to like what he finds there.
They both see it for what it is: an impending disaster. And yet...

Summary
Even though he felt like shooting lightning at Trevelyan every five minutes for all that chivalrous gentleness, Dorian found himself saying thank you more often than at any other time in his life. The fact that he could relax around the man after only a few days bothered him. He knew he would slip eventually.
And he did.

Summary
The Inquisitor pressed his lips to the Tevinter’s cheek, resting his forehead against his. His touch was light, delicate, and full of passion. With his fingers at Dorian’s chin, he looked deep into the mage’s eyes. The intensity in that gaze was utterly overwhelming.
“I’ve also wanted to do this, all the time.”
His final words, combined with that look, brought a rush of warmth to the mage’s chest. Dorian stared, spellbound, lost in the beauty of those deep brown eyes and the wonderful feeling of their bodies intertwining again.
“What else?” he asked on impulse.
His mouth felt dry, a shiver running through him. He barely noticed how rough his voice sounded, carrying his desire to have Connor even closer—when something shifted in the Inquisitor’s expression, and in less than a second they were lost in a deep, passionate kiss.

Summary
Dorian's long-time friend, Emmrich, has had his narrow yet bounteous arse dumped (again), and there's only one thing for it:
Goth Night at The Pawn Shop, the fourth-most popular gay bar in Minrathous, where he might hopefully meet a rebound (some fellow Mae and Varric know named Rook).
Only problem is: There's this annoying little punk buzzing around trying to pick up Emmrich, and Dorian is honor-bound to protect his friend.
A farce of queer friendship, verbose cattiness, Goth music, mistaken identities, eyeliner, tequila, and... love (ugh).
