Pastor Dofine spots her shaking form soon as he’s said that ancient serpent’s name.
“Little girl,” His left hand rests on the creaking pew in front of her.
“Sir?” She chirped.
“Can you tell us what he looks like?” He repeats himself.
“Well...He’s 7 feet tall. Almost big as a house, w-with piercing eyes of yellow!” Her own eyes widened as if recalling an awful memory.
“And he has a voice deep and dry as a well fed fire. He sneaks in your room at night and watches you sleep, calling your name to temptation.” She looked up to the pastor, breathing nearly ragged from her own fearfulness.
“Imaginative young thing.” Pastor Dofine laughs to the chuckling congregation.
But she had told nothing but the truth. How could they deny the devil was anything less than what she described? She’d seen him with her own eyes - had known him for months now.
Had known him since her first night in that house.

Rey enters her sixth year of Hogwarts and has to be paired up with none other than Ben Solo, the Slytherin who has made her life miserable for the last 5 years.

“Not a chance” she laughs rolling her eyes “A less than appealing girl, a mud blood no less, with no family. You even said it yourself, I’m a burden, unwanted garbage that was thrown away”“Rey—” his expression filled with remorse hearing the words he told her the other day leave her mouth. He can tell that by the way her eyes drop to her feet as she speaks that they had hurt her. He regrets ever having said it at all.
“Come on, you know I’m right” her eyes drift back to his, and he can see the tears pooling at the bottom.
Ben steps closer to her bending his head down so that his lips get slow enough to her ear she can feel his hot breath. Her heart skips due to his proximity, the closeness to her that he had willingly done. Ben’s hand drifts back to grasp her bare bicep, the touch electrifying, sending a jolt to course through her.
“I was wrong. None of those things I said are true. You are wanted. And your parents—whoever they were, are the pieces of trash. You are brilliant, and I have no issue telling you—"

“Usually,” he said with amusement in his voice, “But sometimes I can be a real asshole, too.”
