Summary
This story continues after the canon ending. It is an interpretation of what would have happened immediately after the fall, of what I imagine their post-fall interactions to be like. They both survive, and Hannibal takes care of them after the fall until they end up in Cuba. This fic doesn't have much angst, and it tends to be more of a soft story.

Summary
Who would have thought blue would be the shade of Hannibal's undoing? Whenever he took the time to envisage his inevitable end it was always painted with brush strokes of crimson and ash, stones of onyx and ruby. Fate, however, in all her cruelty has chosen sapphires. Even as his body made contact with the harsh surface of the water beneath them, he knew, it was somehow more forgiving then the true blue he was crediting his end to. His eyes. A midnight sky reflecting on a seemingly eternal sea, he was surrounded by the very colour of the eyes that undid him.
Will, Will, Will,
Colour was not where the resemblance between Will and the ocean ends, mild, cruel and unpredictable. The water swallows them as Will has consumed Hannibal's final thoughts and breath. The peak of all emotions he had pushed down for so long. The sting of betrayal and being wrapped in the arms of all he ever needed was nothing less than hell. But when he awoke to Will's eyes, hands pushing down on his chest. The sound of his vixen voice praying and pleading with Hannibal to take a breath. He knew he was wrong, surely even Hell could not be this merciless.

Summary
When he spoke, the sounds came in a slow string, each placed carefully after the last. “For a while, I didn’t even think about you. No matter how often you tried to enter the foyer of my mind, I always turned you away.”
“Difficult, isn’t it? Our palaces share so many rooms. So many entrances for me. Or you.”
“Like cutting off a limb,” Will murmured, voice low.
“Like cutting out a heart.”

Summary
“Have we chased the nightmares away?” Hannibal asks. Are you still with me? he doesn’t. But Will hears his silent question. The bed creaks as he turns onto his side, and Hannibal rolls over to face him.
“I was so cold for so long without you, Hannibal. And now that you’ve taken me out of stasis, it hurts like hell.” There’s a waver in Will's voice. Hannibal wonders if their new intimacy has shaken his foundations as profoundly as it has Hannibal's.
“Now that you’re letting yourself feel again, your wounds are exposed to the open air.”
Will rolls his eyes. “When the snow melts, you can see every dog turd from the whole winter out on the lawn."
"Such a beautiful mind you have," Hannibal says. He’s rewarded with an audible laugh, and a demure glance through thick eyelashes. “I’m right here, Will. I will help you adjust to the temperature.”
–
After evading the FBI, Will and Hannibal hole up in a cabin deep in a Pennsylvania forest to heal their wounds and their relationship. As winter melts into spring, another predator on the run turns up to find his usual safe house is occupied.

Summary
“Is that what you want from me?” Will asked softly, taking one step into the patch of light. “A god?”
“You’ve already assumed that title in my mind.”
Will gazed at him for a moment, unblinking. “You know what sort of god I’d be,” he finally murmured, both a warning and an invitation, issued with the acerbic curl of his lips. It made Hannibal’s heart quicken.
“I know what sort of God you are,” Hannibal echoed, desire clutching him. “Merciless, imperious, jealous… demanding. Nothing less than the god of the medieval Christians. He drove thousands of men and women into monasteries under oaths of poverty and celibacy, a sacrifice freely given under the all-consuming power of their devotion.”
[In the wake of their rebirth from the sea, Hannibal surrenders himself into Will's hands, but even the faith of God's most devoted servants is tried and tested.]

Summary
"Should I be expecting your forgiveness?" Will asked. His voice was thin from strain. Hannibal regarded him, steady as the blood thrumming through his veins.
"I do not view your actions on the bluff as a transgression. The fate you chose for us was a shared one. You may have contemplated offering me to the Dragon, but in the end, separation was an unconscionable prospect." At the mention of the Dragon, Will couldn't help but shudder. He was about to pull away, afraid Hannibal's skin would turn cold to the touch; that his lungs would fill with water in the safe harbour of their bed. Afraid of that terrifying, perverse desire to dominate—to consume.
Sensing his reticence, Hannibal's arm shifted, fingers curling stubbornly over the top of Will's palm. Warm. Strong. Alive.
Will and Hannibal recover together on a boat post-fall, and learn how to live with each other in the process.

Summary
Após a queda no penhasco, Will Graham e Hannibal Lecter emergem vivos e irrevogavelmente transformados.

Summary
»[Da "Oh, the skies", capitolo 1].

Will Graham is a hero, and Hannibal Lecter is dead.
To Will Graham's knowledge, it has been two months since he killed Francis Dolarhyde and coerced Hannibal Lecter to die alongside him. Three men were to enter and none were to get out with their lives. Will Graham got out with his life, and with a scrambled brain, a broken spine, and a cruel, perching thing on his shoulder to show for it. A perching thing that cackles its favorite phrase:
Hannibal is dead.

“You made a religion of empathy, Will, and in doing so, you invited me to your altar. I came willingly. And when you turned away, when you could not walk with me into the dark, I did what I knew. I showed you the depths of my affection the only way you would believe, through blood.”
