And it's natural. For Bam to know a lot of things about Khun. It's already a given that because Khun is willing to be vulnerable in front of him, Bam is aware of his weaknesses.
Separation is a form of a setback. Khun may have his intelligence, but Bam knows it will be useless if Khun can’t get his hands on anything to channel it with. After all, lightbearers cannot shine without their lighthouses.

Everyone thought they were in love. Well. That wasn’t entirely accurate. Everyone thought Khun knew he was in love with Bam and was secretly pining, and that Bam was either ignorant to human emotion and had no idea that what he felt for Khun was the burning romance that deserved to be written in the stars, or, that things were sadly a little bit lopsided, but Bam still did love Khun some, even if maybe not to the same degree.
