Percy didn’t like the way the new kid was looking at him, his bright eyes always peering at him from the corner of some corner or piece of art in the manor, like he was waiting for him to slip up.
He tried to control his emotions, he really did, but the entire situation was definitely unfair, both to him and to Jason.
Since Jason had died, Bruce had managed to first strip Percy of his own colors and vigilante name, ignore his new adopted pet project completely, take in the kid next door (who definitely still had parents who were alive, kicking it, and extremely rich), and give Jason’s colors to him when logically they should’ve been Percy’s next.

Silena drags her hand in the sand where it fell, maybe just feeling how the sand felt in and over her hand. "When I'm sparring in the field, maybe practicing or maybe just for class, I'd mess with my stance or my grip on purpose just so you could come correct me. I would do something like that, if I loved you."
Clarisse blinks at Silena. She knows she always has to correct Silena in the arena. She's so used to glancing at Silena and checking in on her, even when she wasn't teaching, just to see if Silena needed any help. Did Silena fake it every time, just to get her attention? Which came first: Clarisse looking at Silena in the arena or Silena needing help?
"But you don't?" Clarisse asks, not sure where Silena's going, or what she's confessing to.
"No, I guess I don't." Silena blows hair out of her face, still looking down at the sand.

When Percy was knocked out on Polyphemus' Island while trying to save his friends, he had no idea that waking up in ancient Greece was an outcome he had to prepare for.
But here he was, sailing across an unknown sea with a very well known ancient hero, reenacting the Odyssey (of which he knew far to little) and trying not to die. Fun times.
Meeting the gods (who were wilder, younger and way more vengeful) while attempting to not mess up the future was just the top of the metaphorical iceberg.The only good thing? Dreaming about a rather cute boy who always made him smile...
