“Wings?” Vash croaks. The mass billowing from his arm is nothing he’s ever seen before—that includes wings. The more he studies it, the more unnatural it looks. There’s nothing uniform or functional about it. It’s matted, pulling at his skin as if trying to rip through his body completely. Bird wings are soft, sleek. They belong and don’t look like whatever this is. It’s not a fucking wing.
