Kato Haru was confused. He really hates Kambe Daisuke, and he is the one and only person he hates the most in this world. But back again, Kato Haru was confused.
"You bastard," Haru muttered, almost to his own reflection. Then he glanced at Daisuke once more and bit his lip after he was convinced that he had failed to keep himself in check.
"I have a medicine on dashboard. I know it's cheap and I got it from the grocery store on the side of the road. But you can have one for now." Haru really couldn't help himself.
He literally confused.

Summary
Adollium cases settling down, Daisuke and Haru have returned to a normal routine working at the MCPTF. However, First Division soon calls on them about sending Daisuke undercover to help them investigate an illegal street fighting ring after one of their own officers goes missing. With Haru only supporting him from behind-the-scenes, Daisuke will have to face the inside of this ring alone as part of the main attraction - one of the ordinary low-income men lured in with the promise of making an easy profit off of his fists. So long as the gamblers place their bets on him.
The deeper he and Haru investigate, the more this simple premise of a gambling racket begins to unravel.

By now Haru was the only one trapped in the palace, which he assumed to be intentional. But why? Was this all planned in advance? At any rate, Haru was getting tired of all the surprises. What he really wanted was a fight— and a fight he received, for with a swift and vigorous movement his fist swung across a guard’s face, knocking him out.
And Haru was completely, utterly screwed.
