Type couldn’t exactly remember the very first time he met Tharn.
His memories of that moment was questionable at best, but one thing he wouldn't forget was that Tharn couldn’t have looked older than Type’s father. What stuck in Type’s mind though was that Tharn looked tired. Exhausted. Like he’d traveled for miles on foot for reasons unknown. He looked like Type’s father when he was running errands for his mother at the resort, not huffing or puffing like he’d been running but the kind of tiredness that showed in his eyes.

Type Thiwat Phawattakun had a quick temper, no impulse control, and his words never matched up with his thoughts. He has a reputation as an asshole and a homophobe, someone who would probably knock your lights out if you so much as looked at him wrong. He had a reputation as a lady's man, a fuckboy, someone who had probably had sex with every other freshy girl in his faculty and more.
Unfortunately, only those first four things were the truth. Or, the first five. He was an asshole, if he were honest, but most of the time it was accidental. He just had a whole hell of a lot of problems that he didn't think about, and that tended to come out in the worst ways... like punching a gay guy so much he almost got expelled... and screaming at people... and dropping everything just to chase someone down the beat the shit out of them for saying something about him... and also, more recent to his situation, getting ready to beat this shit out of whoever thought it was funny to spread a rumor that his roommate was gay.
Unfortunately for Tharn, his roommate actually IS gay... aw hell.
(Alternatively - the one where Type has PTSD, Tharn is perceptive, Techno is trying, and I don't know Thai.)
