Yang thought of all the possibilities of what she could do. She looked down at Cecilia who looked up at her, those golden eyes that seemed to sparkle despite everything that had happened. The mother’s words echoed in her mind as she made her decision.
“Please take care of her.”
She didn’t know what the future would hold, she knew it would be bumpy, but in her mind, in her heart, she knew this feeling was right.
(Ex-firefighter Yang adopts a faunus. Her entire life is now focused on her daughter. But once she promises her family not to do any more dangerous jobs, she’s left wondering where to go from there. By some twist of fate, her daughter’s favorite celebrity has an opening.)

Sometimes, it was easy to forget that Ruby was the youngest of their group. She was a leader, a genius weapon-smith, and an excellent mediator. JNR had chosen to follow her not only for revenge against Cinder, but because they believed in her desire to fight to make the world better. WBY stuck with her because there was no where else in the world they’d rather be than by her side. They all looked to her to tell them what to do, to forge the path ahead, to guide the next arc in their plan. It was far too easy to forget that she was just a child struggling as much as they were, maybe even more so. Carrying the weight of her friends and the world on her shoulders. It had to be exhausting, but she never showed it.
Masks, however, always had a way of coming off in more ways than one.

My excuse to write a bunch of cute and angsty one-shots set throughout the RWBY canon. There are so many scenes to explore and different ways to play with them. So, buckle in for a wild ride.

Yang Xiao Long had everything she could have ever wished for...well, almost everything.
She's going to her dream school, Beacon Academy, to be a Huntress.
She has a badass team, even though they didn't exactly all get along.
She won the Vytal Festival in her first year.
She has the best girlfriend anyone could ask for, even if she is still a mystery.
She has a moniker, the Fire Dragon of Beacon, which is pretty cool.
Oh, and she has the cutest little sister in the whole world to make proud.
Things have been going pretty well, all things considered, and Yang couldn't be happier. Now, it was time to start her second year at Beacon and kick even more butt.
That is, until, the leader of her team decides to up and leave them within the first month of school.
It was bad enough their team had issues, now they were down one member. And to make matters worse, Yang's little sister suddenly shows up at her door, having run away from home.
This is turning out to be a very troubling year.

Blake saw Yang Branwen and her blood ran cold. That one was a killer, the one looking for her counterpart, she needed to call her lover - Yang Xiao Long, the one she fell for in this world, who she knew was safe.
“She’s here.”
Yang looked confused, “No, I haven’t gotten— Who’s here?”
“You.” Blake rushed, “Your counterpart - she’s nothing like you, she’s dangerous, you need to get the other Blake before—”
A hand covered her mouth, making Blake’s eyes widen in fear as the bandit held her tight with no room to escape, “You’re not the one I want, so who are you?”
