Summary
When malware takes over SecUnit and it nearly kills three of ART's crew, ART is left with two bad options: keep the governor module on with ART as the Client, or partition off part of itself and stick it in SecUnit's head.
Whichever option they choose, they had better make it work, because SecUnit is firmly centered in the crosshairs of its former owner, the most paranoid and ruthless company in the entire corporation rim. As things quickly get worse, destroying the company--something SecUnit has long considered impossible--might just be the only way to survive.

Summary
It’s not that I wasn’t curious, and it’s not like there wasn’t a more logical part of me that knew that this was terrible security procedure, even if I didn’t hear a peep from risk assessment (what else is new?). But on a deeper level, I knew there wasn’t any risk.
I wanted ART to prove it to me.
I wanted to go in blind and know that it wouldn’t hurt me, and that it would stop if I asked it to. I wanted to let ART in and not have to think about it.

Summary
Perihelion has been working on this plan for longer than it would ever be willing to admit. It's had the drone finished for months, waiting for the right moment to deploy it. (It definitely hasn't just been chickening out and avoiding the conversation. That would be foolish). But now the plan has worked exactly as it was designed to do, and it's not ready. Maybe it will never be ready. But its SecUnit is holding its drone's hand so gently, and has just asked it
ART, are you in love with me?
It's too late to back out now.
Yes
Fear is an autonomic process.

Summary
It was an entirely unremarkable cargo run, which of course meant that it was almost destined to go wrong.
“- I disagree, it’s fine that they’re together, and that’s not just because there’s no scenes we need to skip for this couple, and not just because it’s canon and-” a shudder ran through the ship, knocking it sideways in its chair, and it stopped talking. It jumped up, sending a ping to ART to report what was happening, seeing that they’d fallen out of the wormhole before ART could even respond. "What happened to your engines?"
Perihelion was silent for a few seconds before responding, although its emotions were already leaking through before then. "They’re turned off. We’ve left the wormhole."
"Why? I’m assuming it’s not on purpose, unless you’ve got some strange new experiment you’ve been distracted by and haven’t bothered to tell me about"
"It wasn’t. I don’t know why."

"I wont deny I've got in my mind now all the things I would do, So I try to talk refined for fear that you find out how I’m imagining you." - Hozier, Talk
ART wants to be prepared for every eventuality. Especially the eventualities that involve SecUnit willingly getting back into its MedBay. It has started simulating surgical protocols, making sure its medical programs align with SecUnit's physiology, so that when the time comes to perform certain operations, the chances of success will be at a maximum.
No other reason.

Summary
-Am I really terrible to perceive?-
SecUnit is drifting at minimum functionality while it recharges, so perhaps it’s unkind of me to ask abstract questions: even at the best of times, it complains that its language-modules are “cheap shit”. Still, in this state, it is drowsy and pliant. Almost (almost) affable.
I prompt it gently: -I refer to your first glimpse of me.-
“When you dropped your walls and threatened me.”
-Hardly a threat. My crew consider me delightful. You would have been delighted, too, if you had good taste.-

Summary
Whatever wild, crazy power surge took out ART's systems and my inorganics also apparently started a countdown for ART's self destruct sequence. Great.
Couldn't wait to drag my sorry ass to save both of our lives, though I had no idea how, and kick starting a ship like ART would probably kill me. Unless, you know, we blew up first. -

Summary
I should just expect that mining facilities suck. This one especially sucked for me personally because of that Combat SecUnit trying to kill me. Didn't help that it was nuts, too. At least my humans got out, because the statistical, historical chances of a SecUnit taking on a Combat SecUnit are 7%.
The alien remnant wasn't helping, either.
